For children aged 3-9, the children’s centre offers fun and excitement as well as providing unique but essential social, emotional and educational support.
Weekly themes reflecting the children’s varied interests shape the structured educational and developmental activities and reinforce the national curriculum. Emotional literacy and communication are developed in our circle time sessions where children are able to express their fears, worries and feelings and support each other with their troubles and concerns.
External specialists in the creative arts, such as drama and music teachers enhance the experience. Extra support is given to those children who are experiencing social or emotional difficulties or have other special educational needs.
