We are delighted to announce that Body & Soul has been selected to receive financial support from the Centre for Social Action Innovation Fund to expand Beyond Boundaries, our peer and professional support service for young people living with HIV.
Over half of people living with HIV now live outside of London. In order to ensure that Body & Soul’s award winning programme of support is available to this growing population, the funding will enable us to increase the provision of remote support to 15-30 year olds who may otherwise find it difficult to attend support at our London centre.
The Centre for Social Action Innovation Fund, a partnership between Nesta and the Cabinet Office, supports the growth of innovations that mobilise people’s energy and talents to help each other, working alongside public services. This project will allow young people living with HIV to access online materials designed by their peers, to connect with trained peer mentors and the opportunity to seek professional support from counsellors, social workers and life coaches.
Over the coming weeks we will be releasing additional information about Beyond Boundaries for those wishing to participate and for professionals who may wish to refer their clients and patients to the service. In the meantime, to be the first to hear news on this project, please complete the following form and we will be in touch.
